So in honor of St. Patty’s day, I will be making my Irish Car Bomb cupcakes!! I am going to turn a few into push ups so I will be posting new pictures soon! I also have an order for birthday cupcakes…chocolate with purple whipped frosting. I have never tested any whipped recipes so I am excited to try something new!
Wow, where has a year gone? I started this blog almost a year ago and lost touch with it due to my everyday life! That being said, watch out world because I am going BIG this year with Push Up Cupcakes and my Bliss Cakery!! What I have been doing since the last post? Perfecting my skills and recipes!
I want to thank Hoda and Kathie Lee for featuring another brand of push up cupcakes that has created some new buzz for my site! It is amazing when a product hits TV what can happen!
I am making time this weekend to create a new project for spring! I had some great suggestions on my facebook page (facebook.com/pushupcupcakes) and I think a dirt cake push up is the next in line! Might be a little messy but it certainly has my favorite things in it!
Hi All! I just want to let you know I will be getting to some new ideas this week! PROMISE! I have been super busy with my “real” job, end of the year activities for my son, and for some reason, I decided to go back to school! SO – I just want you to know I am not neglecting you!!!
We know that this is a fairly “new” craze! If you have made push ups for yourself, a party, or just an experiment…Please share! Email me pictures at firstname.lastname@example.org and tell me what is inside!
I have wanted to make this combination in the push up tubes since I first got my hands on them!! I made devil’s food cake in the mini muffin tins. Then I whipped up a creation for the frosting of Jif Chunky Peanut Butter, Confectioners Sugar, Butter, Milk and Vanilla. I chose to use the crunchy for a little bit more texture but creamy would work just fine! Instead of using a piping bag and tip (because of the chunks) I put the frosting in a zip lock bag and cut the end off. It worked great!
To get the chopped up Reeses Peanut Butter Cups, I used the minis. Stick them in the freezer for 10-15 minutes so they are easier to chop.
Here is how the first layer looked:
To finish it off, I added another cake, more frosting and instead of crumbles, a peanut butter cup!
Who wants containers?? They are $.90 each and $8 per 24 for USPS (to US addresses). They would ship to you around 4/24. Email me at email@example.com and let me know how many you would like. I would email you an invoice through Paypal for payment so please provide me that information. You must order at least 2 dozen.
